1. Bend, OR

How is it Romantic?

They say that music is a love language, it’s a form of expressing ourselves and communicating inner emotions. Music leads to dancing – swing dancing, jumping up and down, or just vibing to the music, check out Hayden Homes Amphitheater for your romantic adventure.

2. Mt. Hood, OR

How is it Romantic?

Mountain views make you feel alive, small, and intrigued by how nature can create something breathtaking. Hiking up one of Mt.Hood’s trails and having a picnic or staying at a BnB with a hot tub, mountain views, and outdoor fire pit – Mt.Hood is romantic in many ways.

How is it Rad?

Standing as the highest peak in Oregon, the second most climbed mountain in the world, and a dormant volcano, Mt.Hood is a popular and historical destination. If you spend time on the Timberline Trail on Hood you will notice that a portion of it is extremely sandy due to an eruption in the 1790’s.

3. Cannon Beach, OR

How is it Romantic?

This beach is known as the top art town in the PNW with walkable shops, restaurants, nearby hikes, and beach sunsets.

How is it Rad?

If you want to start the day off with a run on the beach, go hiking in the afternoon or a bike ride along the boardwalk, or spend time fishing, crabbing, or clamming – this is the place for you.

4. Newport, OR

How is it Romantic?

Visit the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse, Oregon’s tallest lighthouse, or Agate Beach Recreational State Park for beach views for walking, kitesurfing, or surfing. Oceans are known for putting people at ease, so how is that not romantic?

How is it Rad?

Kayak, dig for razor clams, camp, eat fresh seafood, surf, and spearfish, if you are an aquatic lover, this is a rad place for you.

5. Sisters, OR

How is it Romantic?

Spend the weekend in the woods at a unique Vrbo or backpacking through the Three Sisters Wilderness. Dense wooded areas, waterfalls, and lakes will surround you. If you want to go into this lively small town, there are a variety of breweries, food trucks, and restaurants for a groovy date night after a long day outside.

Intense hikes, backpacking trips, time out on the water, mountain views, this is a destination you won’t want to leave.

6. Tillamook, OR

How is it Romantic?

You may have heard of Tillamook if you have seen the cheese or ice cream in a grocery store. Couples go on ice cream dates, however, what is more romantic than a cheese date? The Swiss are known for their savory fondues, and the French created the famous adult snack of charcuterie…these are the countries of love.

How is it Rad?

Camp on the Oregon Coast and wake up to some hot coffee and endless oceanic views, paddleboard on one of the nearby bays or lakes,

How is it Romantic?

A mixture of arts, culture, and nearby adventures, this college town is lively and a one-stop couples getaway of fun.

How is it Rad?

Do you love to hike? Sweet Creek Falls, Kentucky Falls, Sahalie & Koosah Falls, Trestle Creek Falls, Proxy Falls, Salt Creek Falls, and Diamond Creek Falls are all nearby.

8. Mt. Bachelor, OR

How is it Romantic?

Outside of Bend, Oregon is Mt. Bachelor. This couples’ getaway weekend is one of my favorite spots. If you like RV camping or staying in nearby hotels, this mountain has everything. Visiting in the winter or spring will feel like you’re in a winter wonderland.

How is it Rad?

Mt. Bachelor has some of the best powder for snowboarding that I have touched. The vibes are high, the food is good, the drinks are pouring, the music makes you want to dance. Check out Mt.Bachelor’s event calendar for things to do during your stay.

9. Crater Lake, OR

How is it Romantic?

With Crater Lake’s rich blue coloring, clarity, and the deepest lake in the country, many people visit the picturesque landscape for a tranquil getaway. Spend a weekend camping, stargazing, fishing, or swimming in the lake for your couples’ weekend getaway.

How is it Rad?

What was once a tall peak is now one of the deepest lakes. Mount Mazama stood around 12,000 feet before it violently erupted, sinking into itself, and creating a massive crater that was filled with rain and snow melt, now known as Crater Lake.
